High schools in Australia are both public and private, co-educational or single sex. You can study 3-6 months or even finish your high schooling – Year 12.
The academic year is divided into 3 trimesters or 4 terms
Apart from the compulsory subjects such as maths and science there are a broad range of electives that can be taken, from languages, sports, music, dance, drama, graphic design, multimedia studies etc
A comprehensive activity and excursion program is also available for international students to give them a chance to visit other parts of Australia.
CAPEC represents high schools in Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales, Queenlsand, Victoria and Tasmania.
